What really happens during the Today show commercial break: Karl and Alison Langdon get caught out in hilarious behind-the-scenes video
Today show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon showed off their daggy dance moves during a commercial break on Wednesday.
The pair were filmed taking part in a spontaneous twerking session in a behind-the-scene video which was uploaded to the show’s Instagram page.
Karl, 48, and Allison, 43, were captured enthusiastically jiggling their hips for the camera while singing the dance song Wiggle It.

The hosts got a little too caught up in the moment and began wiggling their bottoms, prompting an offscreen crew member to ask if there was an ‘earthquake’.
The Today show captioned it with some cheeky words: ‘What happens in the ad breaks doesn’t always stay in the ad breaks.’
The footage quickly went viral, with thousands of fans commenting how hilarious it was.

It comes after Karl recently roasted Allison for quitting the Today show to host A Current Affair in 2023.

Karl wasted no time discussing the big news on Monday’s broadcast, opening the show by singing along to The Beach Boys song Kokomo: ‘She’ll go out to sea, when she goes to ACA!’
‘Allison Langdon everyone, the new host of ‘A Current Affair’, of course. Congratulations, Ally,’ he declared, turning to Langdon.
‘I wasn’t sure what you would do this morning. I knew it would be something,’ Ally beamed.
