HER excitement was palpable, but one TikTok fan has been left sorely disappointed after trying a viral Amazon dress.
It was such a fashion fail all she could do was laugh in the face of such misfortune.

Never has a dress come so close to a nip slip, but that wasn’t the most revealing part.
There was more to come in this dress drama.
Victoria Clark (@missvictoriaclark) had been seduced by the hype that surrounded this brightly-colored number.
Therefore, she looked forward to trying it out.

The Canadian has 31,000 followers on her TikTok, where she describes herself as “authentic and optimistic.”
But there was going to have to be an awful lot of positivity to see the bright side of this item.
“Trying on the viral TikTok Amazon orange/pink summer dress,” she said in her post, holding up her package with gleeful anticipation.
The $29 dress in question promised so much, a riot of pinks and oranges and saucy cut-outs.
“I have an Amazon package that arrived and I’m so excited. I know exactly what this is, the viral TikTok dress,” she revealed.
First impressions were not great: “The material kind of looks a bit see-through. I’m a bit nervous to see how it looks.”
Once she tried it on it was clear this dress was failing to live up to her expectations.
Her nervousness soon changed to amusement when she saw the problem with this dress.

It left very little to the imagination and she could only laugh: “It’s very see-through, like completely see-through.”
There was no disguising the fact that her underwear was clearly visible.
Body parts could be seen, too, including her belly button. But there was worse to come as she tried to adjust it.
At least she could see the light side of things: “This is so close to a nip slip happening.”
“This is not it. Returning for sure,” she decided, and her final verdict was the nail in this fashion coffin.
“Gives it a 3/10. Fits well but the material is thin and completely see-through,” she said.
“This no bueno. Definitely returning. Amazon fail.”
Commenters did not agree with her view of the dress.
“You look absolutely stunning,” said one person. While another was forthright: “Girl you look bomb as f**k.”
Reviewers on Amazon were able to look past this item’s problems.
One reviewer said: “This dress is so flattering. The material is thin but I was expecting it as I saw reviews of this dress on TikTok before purchasing.”
Another thought it was great: “Every girl needs this dress. It fits your body so nicely and the fabric is very soft. It is a bit see-through but overall in love with it.”
