Just call her Cookie Monster.

Cardi B bundled up in faux fur as she made her runway debut in an enormous bright blue coat at Balenciaga’s fall 2024 show in Los Angeles — and the “WAP” singer’s fans had plenty to say about it.

“Yesterday was a dream! I had too much fun storming your runway!” the 31-year-old rapper captioned an Instagram post showing some behind-the-scenes looks from the fashion show, adding “DARE TO BE DIFFERENT 🖤💙❤️.”

Cardi B, who snagged her first high-fashion campaign by becoming the face of Balenciaga in 2020, strutted down a Los Angeles street that was shut down for the show as she sported the fuzzy, floor-length creation.

Underneath, the “Drip” singer wore a black bodysuit and the brand’s pantaleggings, adding a dazzling Balenciaga diamond choker, studs and a huge statement ring.

She wore her hair slicked back in a super-long ponytail that practically touched the palm-tree-lined street, walking the makeshift runway in black lipstick as the Hollywood sign was visible in the background.

Plenty of other celebs were in attendance, including Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz, Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, who toted an Erewhon x Balenciaga grocery bag purse to the show.

However, many of Cardi B’s fans seemed to take offense to the singer’s runway debut after Balenciaga received widespread backlash for a controversial campaign featuring children and BDSM-inspired teddy bears last year.

“Soo you talk this mess about Balenciaga and to protect our kids then a year later walk a runway show for them?? Make it make sense. #Messy,” one fan wrote.

“I thought balenciaga was cancelled … 😮 and you got kids cardi smh” another added, while a third wrote, “But didn’t Balenciaga….nevermind. Celebrities clearly don’t care..”

Despite the controversy, Cardi isn’t the first famous face to support the brand after its 2022 scandal, with everyone from the Kardashians to Nicole Kidman appearing in advertisements for the brand.
