When “Bauer sucht Frau” candidate Patricia (40) wanted to conjure up a delicious menu for her Jörg (49), the farmer almost lost faith. There should be a melon for dessert. And what does the woman from Duisburg do? Use the vegetable peeler to remove the skin from the fruit. Not only the Hessian shook his head at this.

In the meantime, there have been powerful sparks between the nurse cow owner and his lady-in-waiting. Since love is known to go through the stomach, Patricia courageously stood at the stove in episode eight. So far, this has been rather unusual for the farmer. “It’s nice when a woman cooks for you and not your mother,” he said happily.

The lady-in-waiting had bought a juicy watermelon. Her plan: “You only eat the red. So the green has to go.” When Jörg asked for a cutting board, the blonde suddenly came up with the vegetable peeler. With that she wanted to scrape off the shell. Her loved one no longer understood the world. “I don’t eat melon. But I know you have to cut them in half and then cut out the pieces.”

Unfortunately, Patricia was completely unfamiliar with this operation. She actually thought melons were peeled like potatoes. The candidate explained her cluelessness as follows: “In Duisburg I always get the melons in yogurt cups. They are already cut into small, bite-sized pieces.”

Just as she was putting on the peeler, her farmer was getting too carried away. He got a knife and showed the lady-in-waiting how to do it properly.
