The UK reported that at the moment 12 people who died in a fire in a Kostroma club have been identified.

The bodies of 12 of the 13 who died in the fire in the Kostroma club “Polygon” were identified. This was reported by the press service of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kostroma Region.

“In the course of the investigation in a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, which negligently caused the death of two or more persons (part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the bodies of 12 dead have now been identified,” — says in the message.

The department also spoke about the interrogation with the owner of the nightclub building. The Investigative Committee added that on the fact of the possible inaction of officials in organizing inspections, a pre-investigation check has been launched.
