Maneskin set temperatures soaring at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards with their raunchy performance to the track ‘Supermodel’.

Stepping up on stage in risque outfits that left very little to the imagination. While the band performed their track, fans tuning in to the show noted that the band’s performance was seemingly censored as the cameras panned away from the stage for extended periods of time.

Reports at first stated that Damiano David’s bare butt jig on stage was one of the reasons why the cameras panned away. However, it was later noted that band member Victoria De Angelis had a major wardrobe malfunction on-stage.

Fans later pointed out that bassist Victoria had a nip slip when her off-shoulder top apparently fell off during the gig. However, that didn’t stop fans from demanding ‘Justice for Maneskin’ in a series of tweets. “Let’s make nipples free to be seen! a man with a shirtless and buttocks out is fine, the woman’s breasts are censored! shitty misogynists,” a fan wrote

.

Another said, “Damiano is dang sexy. So sexy, he had to be censored.”

“I’m sorry but Maneskin ATE this performance up, there was no need to censor,” another said.

“I can’t believe that Maneskin has the most exciting set of the whole #vmas & MTV censored the whole damn set!!!! Justice for Maneskin!!!” a fan tweeted.

Another fan said, “I waited all night to watch Maneskin on #VMAs to have @MTV show two seconds of the actual performance. Why was it censored?”
