Love Is Blind is deep into season three, with five couples making it out of the pods, heading on honeymoon and eventually moving into apartments together. But some fans are now pointing out the hilarious moment we all missed from SK and Raven’s engagement.
Raven Ross, a 29 year old Pilates instructor and 34-year-old SK Alagbada, a data engineer, formed an emotional bond in the pods after sharing details about their families and backgrounds.
While Raven also formed a connection with Bartise in the pods, she eventually decided it wasn’t right, and said yes to SK when he proposed. Only, er, viewers have just noticed the engagement ring didn’t actually quite fit on her finger first time around. Oops.
As one fan put it, “I almost fell on the FLOOR LAUGHING @ SK STRUGGLING TO PUT THE RING ON RAVEN. THEY DIDN’T GIVE A FLYING **** THIS SEASON OMG #LOVEISBLIND.”
Another put, “SK just put the ring on Raven’s finger without even asking her looooooool.”
In a new interview with Elite Daily, SK revealed the engagement went slightly differently to how it was portrayed on the show. “I remember in the proposal when I went down on one knee and proposed to Raven, it was shown she was walking away, contemplating, [but] that stuff didn’t happen,” he said.
“I was in the room. I was down one on one knee, and when I proposed to her, I got an answer back in one second. The whole hesitation [with] her walking around was not… It was not real. It was just edited in there.”
