Kate Beckinsale concluded her Golden Globes night in a hospital.
The Underworld and The Widow actress headed to the hospital shortly after the conclusion of Sunday’s awards ceremony, according to an Instagram post Tuesday. Along with photos of her looking chic on the red carpet and presenting an award, Beckinsale shared two images showing her sitting in a hospital room alongside what appears to be her family — still wearing her glamorous gown.
“Golden globes 2024 start to end,” she wrote in the caption.
Beckinsale and Don Cheadle presented the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama to Killers of the Flower Moon star Lily Gladstone toward the end of the Globes ceremony. Gladstone, who began her speech with remarks in Blackfeet language, became the first Indigenous person to win the category.

Beckinsale didn’t state the reason for her hospital visit, and representatives for the actress didn’t immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
Last month Beckinsale asked fans on social media to send their support to her ailing stepfather, British TV director Roy Battersby. “We need a miracle,” she wrote. “This week has taken an even scarier turn involving the health of my beloved stepdad, Roy, and we need every tiny scrap of love and magic in the hope he pulls through.”
She added that if people “would be kind enough to send healing energy his way, I’d be so grateful. I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t try every single thing and then would wonder for the rest of my life if that would have helped.”
Beckinsale will next star in the action-thriller Canary Black alongside Rupert Friend. Last year she appeared in Charlie Day’s directorial debut, Fool’s Paradise.
