According to a report, the overall mood in WWE has greatly improved under the new leadership of Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and Triple H.

It’s been more than a month since Vince McMahon announced his retirement after four decades in charge of the WWE, and the new leadership team has reportedly created a much more positive working environment.

During Vince’s tenure, there were occasional stories about him rewriting scripts at the fairly last minute before a show went on the air. On top of that, McMahon received plenty of criticism for deciding to release dozens and dozens of wrestlers, on-air personalities and other staff members.

After Vince announced his retirement, Stephanie McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan were named the co-CEOs of the company. Triple H (Paul Levesque), was named the new Head of Talent Relations (replacing John Laurinaitis) as well as the leader of the WWE creative team.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com provided plenty of details regarding the improved morale within the company. According to Johnson’s report, the “walking on eggshells” feeling rapidly “faded away.” He explained that there’s “renewed hope and pride for” people working in the WWE.

According to Johnson, the production team has greatly benefited from the new leadership team of Khan, McMahon and Triple H. Johnson’s reported stated that with Vince stepping away, “there isn’t anyone yelling at the production truck or the announcers anymore.” One source told Johnson that people in the company now feel as though they’re “allowed to feel like it’s fun to work here.” The report also noted that multiple employees who were “looking to leave just a few months ago” have already started reconsidering their decisions.

Soon after Triple H was promoted to Head of Talent relations, it was reported that the announcement was well-received among WWE superstars. The Hall of Famer is only a few weeks into his new roles with WWE, but unsurprisingly, Raw‘s ratings have increased noticeably under his watch.

After Vince’s retirement, it was also reported that multiple AEW talents had grown more keen on the idea of joining the WWE. Cody Rhodes, of course, returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 weekend well before Vince stepped away.

Triple H Hasn’t Wasted Any Time In Making Big-Time Moves

The Game’s biggest change up to this point? It’s arguably his decision to bring back previously released talents. Dakota Kai, Hit Row (Top Dolla, B-Fab and Ashante “Thee” Adonis) Dexter Lumis, Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux have all returned since the change in leadership. Johnny Gargano left WWE in December of last year following the expiration of his contract, but he returned on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
