On July 30, the incident happened in Indra Colony, Mani Majra.
In the video, a police officer can be seen approaching a man named Bittu who is riding a Bullet motorcycle without a helmet and repeatedly beating him with a stick.
According to the video, he also kicked Bittu after dragging him to the ground. A second police officer shows up in the meanwhile and takes the motorcycle’s key out of his pocket.
as per a video from a CCTV camera placed outside a building, the rider was attacked and assaulted by the policeman as soon as he got off the bike.

On this matter Chandigarh SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal said, “We have called an explanation from the police personnel about the entire incident following which further action will be taken.”
