Footage shows about seven carnival goers making the most of the fun as they wave to the cheering crowd below.

Others stand at the bus stop, with a man directly below as families and friends dance to the music in the street.

But in one fell swoop, the shelter’s roof collapses, causing the dancers to fall to the ground, nearly crushing those below them.

Spectators rush to help as the crowd gasps in shock.

Those who viewed the footage online reacted quickly and the clip caused mixed reactions.

One person said, “I hope the girl in blue is okay.”

Another added: “I hope no one is hurt but that’s sooo funny!”

Someone else wrote: “That’s not okay. Go and have fun by all means but what is the need to stand on a bus shelter and damage it.

“They have to be made to cover the repairs.”

A fourth added: “Football hooligans are much MUCH worse!!! It’s naughty, but it’s only those who got hurt!”

The Met Police said two people suffered minor injuries when the shelter collapsed.

Police tweeted: “We are aware of a video showing a bus shelter collapsing in the Ladbroke Grove area. Agents responded.

“Two people suffered minor injuries. They did not require further treatment.”

It comes after Carnival was scrapped for the second year in a row last year due to the Covid pandemic.

The party was back with a bang this weekend, with an estimated 1 million people filling the streets with color and music.
