Doddie Weir played 61 Tests for Scotland as a lock. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017 and set up the foundation ‘My Name’s Doddie’ to help raise funds in fighting the disease. He presented the Scotland-New Zealand match ball at a packed Murrayfield Stadium, accompanied by his sons and a young local rugby club boy who raised funds for Doddie’s cause.
